A new lease of life for the Croydon Cardiac Support Group website

Having a heart attack or other coronary problem is a frightening experience but if you live in south-west London or Surrey the Croydon Cardiac Support Group can help ease those fears and worries. Founded in 1988 by ex-heart patient Gordon Beale along with Croydon University Hospital cardiologists the group gives advice and support to cardiac patients.

Having been created over six years ago their website was looking a little tired so Asha from the Croydon Cardiac Support Group created a design for a new website and I brought her idea into reality. The design is simple, clear, modern and easy to navigate - a must given that many of those looking at the website may be elderly and possibly confused by a complex design.

It's a small website at four pages but it gives the viewer all the information they need to know about the organisation. There are details of their monthly meetings where consultants, nurses and other healthcare practitioners give informative talks, news about fundraising and other activities and a map and details of how to get to the hospital. With contact details on every page, the organisation is simple to contact by phone or email with no complicated forms to fill out.

The website is now fully responsive, looking as good on a mobile or a tablet as it does on a laptop or desktop PC. The new website will act as a great promotional tool for the group for some time to come.
